Click Suite
I am an avid follower and creator of leading edge virtual developments. I'm usually the one with the answer to “how did they do that?” (a question which often pops out of people's mouths once they see our work!).
The advent of the personal computer in the late 80’s, providing colour and sound at an affordable price, gave me the opportunity to combine hardware and software mash-ups bringing computer generated images to New Zealand’s TV screens and attracted the attention of industry pioneers, including Steve Wozniak from Apple Computers.
Prior to forming Click Suite in '94, I formed Pixel Perfect which pioneered computer graphics on NZ television screens. This work featured on some of New Zealand’s iconic commercials.
With the possibility of adding interactivity to people’s entertainment, I saw things would never be the same again, and so Click Suite was formed.
My current passion is in the Mobile space. Computer power that I once only dreamed of is now in people's pockets, and the challenge now is to use this power to entertain, inform, and maximise people’s enjoyment of life. "I think a mobile device should be like a remote control for your life".
On this blog I aim to write about upcoming technologies, my discoveries from conferences around the world, plus share the secrets of "how we did it".
